This quirky meal plan booklet was setup as a component of a larger-comprehensive weight-loss programme developed by Dr Kats. The Intended use of the booklet is to assist individuals plan and monitor daily diets as they embark on their weight-loss journey. As a result of design-best-practices this booklet has been assembled in a manner that allows for it to be used separately to the larger weight-loss programme.
The overall design makes reference to the retro aesthetic of the late 70’s, A classical style adopted by Dr Kats and extends onto packaging, brochures, Social media and other promotional.
Handcrafted iconography and illustration are commonly used throughout the booklet as a quirky nod to those that are seeking the perfect diet plan. An unrestrained colour palette with structured content makes this booklet fun and easy to navigate. A fun project I completed as the Head of Design at lnco Creative.
